First, I would like to apologize for being relatively silent for so long about Season Five.
The truth is this:
* I now work 80 hours a week as a doctor and have many other projects going on in my life.
* DJ is a student and a published author. She also works. She has basically finished with BOH.
* Claudia is a new mother.
* Fero and DN have more or less vanished.
The Web Series began ten years ago. We were all younger and had a lot more free time. Sadly, life has intervened.
I want to do Season Five. I will do Season Five. But there's a very good chance the other senior writers won't be helping out with it.
I have a few people in mind for new senior writers. I will be contacting them over the next few weeks to work out details. Don't contact me asking to be a senior writer. I will contact you. If I still need people after going through my list, I will post here about it.
I really want to get started in earnest on the season by January. No promises.
Season Five will be the last season of the Web Series. The website will continue to exist after that, and new content will be added whenever possible. I wish the Web Series didn't have to end, but clearly there is not enough room left in my life to continue this indefinitely.
I hate that it's come to this, but it is what it is. I hate doing this without DJ's blessing, since she began the site and the Web Series. I was just a wide-eyed fan who loved the cartoon and the Web Series until partway through Season Three, when I came on board. If DJ were communicating with me more, I would wait on her. But it's been way too long since Season Four. I am putting my foot down and getting this done. Eventually.
That's the long and the short of it. Post questions if you've got them.

Jeez, that's rough, needless to say. Hope you get some decent new writers. Not that the old ones are bad, I just mean new ones who can live up to the standard set by seasons 1-4.

Looks like I joined just at the end of things. But finding bucky o'hare on the net has been amazing. I forgot all about it, and how much I enjoyed it as a child.

It's sad to end it abruptly, but I think it is much better than leave it in static state... oh well, no one knows what the future has in store

Guess it's not as dead as we first thought, huh?
Will the series be definitely stopping at Series Five, though? I only ask because I'm sure some of us would all like to pitch in for any future projects.

A few lines from Rygar and the wood-work opens causing names not seen in years begin to pour forth. Seems someone learned that all you need to do in order to make people move is light a fire under their ass.
Nice to hear the ball intends to roll once more.
This self proclaimed pic collector has not been totally idle. I’ve been turning over the net in search of whatever might be found Bucky related and more, as one sushi-loving, frog-admiring Indonesian can attest.
