Q: does the Aldebaran join an Order by birth right or by just studying the Order the want to join? A: It's a bit of both. When a female Aldebaran begins to express her magical talents she is tested. Whichever spell types she scores the highest in, is the School she's designated to study. Using the web series, this would mean that The Queen scored highest in Healing Spells, Cassie in Thought Spells, and Jenny in Combat Spells. Of course, once the basics are out of the way, if an Aldebaran, as an adult, wanted to learn another set of spells, she could reapply and take those other classes.

My my, I go away for years on end, and the place explodes with questions on Aldebarans. (I've always typed it Aldeberran)
Anywho, I'll try to catch myself up, and hopefully I'll be around longer this time. XD

Than I'll do just that!
I'll take every relevant piece of text about the black gems and use them to deduce what they are, what they're purpose is, and how they're used. I'll do this in the form of a question, then I'll post the appropriate text, and finally, the conclusion that can be drawn from it.
Question: What are the Black Gems? Are they something unique, and apart from the other four colors?
The Text From: Blood Ties, Scene 11 - Ponce's Lab, Underground, Aldeberan In the middle of the fight, Tommy gasps and clutches at something at his throat. The three Sisters nearby take the opportunity to punch and kick Tommy until he's on his knees. Another female with gems so blue they are nearly black walks forward. The Conclusion The Female in question's gems clearly weren't black, they were blue, just a very dark shade of blue. Similar description of Assassination Sisters's gems being very dark shades of ordinary gem colors -thus appearing black at a glance- can be found throughout the series. This means there are no black gems, only darker shades of familiarly colored gems. What this means is anyone's guess, but to me there's two possibilities. Either darker gems are more potent than lighter gems, or darker gems have been used for more aggressive purposes than lighter gems. Though to me, the second guess -that the history of their use was as for more aggressive purposed- seems far more likely.
Question: So if the Assassination Sisters only use darker shades of ordinary colors of spell gems, exactly what colors do they use?
The Text From Thicker than Water, Scene 12 - [Meenwhile in the physical realm] Bucky and Mimi fight side by, firing their masers, stunning several assassins. One large feline, her red gems flowing fiercely, advances on Bucky and Mimi's back flank. From Symptoms, Scene 21 - Restaraunt, Palace City, Aldeberan The male suddenly gasps and rolls over, trying to scurry away from the window, toppling the table and falling to the floor, landing on one of the women who was eating at the table he fell on. The source of his terror steps through the window. It's an ASSASSINATION SISTER, with very deep, inky, blackened forest-green gems. From Justification Part 1, Scene 1 - Aldeberan A female BROWN TABBY with silver eyes and black-blue spellgems stands hidden in the woods nearby. The Conclusion We've seen explicitly stated that Assassination Sisters can use dark shades of red, green, or blue gems. Those colors represent the schools of combat, healing, and thought. So it's safe to assume that an Assassination Sister can be a student of any of these three schools. And while there's no word of an Assassination Sister having a dark yellow gem -representing the general school-, it would not surprise me if they existed as well. To me, this states clearly that the term 'Assassination Sister' is used to describe one that practices magic for a particular purpose, rather than of a particular form.

This is something buzzng in my mind since much time: From where do come all the magical componetns of the male resistance? I mean: if males having magical powers were supposed to be killed at birth, how did they grow up to join the male resistance? I can only guess some mothers had not the hearth of killing their own children.

I mean: if males having magical powers were supposed to be killed at birth, how did they grow up to join the male resistance? I can only guess some mothers had not the hearth of killing their own children. As the Queen gave up her daughter to have the experience of a son, so too are there others that wanted a boy-child. Plus, it would be dumb to completely remove all the magically active males from the gene-pool. Some of the 'less dangerous' males are kept as breed-stock studs to further the power of female magic. It's believed that when Tommy was discovered, he too served some time in a breeding house, though it is not clear if his lineage was known at the time. More powerful males with magics are kept drugged on pheromones that mimic the heat of a female so as to prevent them from thinking clearly enough to use their powers or are strapped down with enough neurodampers to render most sentient beings brain dead.

I see! Don't take this in the wrong way but you're an evil genius. Two more questions: Are there forbidden spells in aldebaran magic? I mean spells so powerful to be dangerous and for that kept secret (and maybe even forgotten) from public knowledge of aldebarans theirself. Can aldebaran magic bend time and space?

I like that. I think I'll add it to my title. Claudia Carranza, Senior Writer, Aldebaran Specialist, Evil Genus. As for your questions, Yes and yes.

oh nothing...XD...Now on to my question...Can an Aldebaran leave the sisterhood on her own will or does she needs to go to a Trial before leaving? Leaving such a secretive society brings with it a great number of dangers. Think Old Soviet Union Russia's lethal desire to keep their secrets Secret. And there is no Witness Protection Program.
