Well, that was certainly an unusual promotional tactic. Points for creativity, anyway.

The most important thing about comedy? Timing!

www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVLAjTY2qWEA Final Fantasy music video set to my favorite song, Your Disco Needs You by Kylie Minogue! Clever! PS speaking of Kylie... yes I'm happy to say this weekend the UK will have a repeat of the DAMME good gaming news we had in February last year - i.e. we'll have two DAMME good reasons to buy Super Street Fighter 4 at the end of the month ;D

Heh heh. Final Fantasy. Been awhile since I could seriously claim to be a fan. Last one I had any real interest in was Final Fantasy 9, which came out when the Robbie Williams tune Millenium ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GlJSU6KecY ) still had some relevance. Guess I'm just starting to get old or something...

www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvjVadrXbko&feature=relatedThe Goomba elevator scene from Super Mario Bros.! This is my favourite scene, it always cracks me up ;D Yes I post this as a tribute to Dennis Hopper (RIP), who last Saturday lost his battle with terminal cancer. Also for anyone else planning to pay tribute, might I suggest a couple of my own ideas? 1 - Watch any of Dennis's movies. When I got the news of his terminal cancer, I suggested my mom and I should watch Super Mario Bros. (her face lit up when it came out on DVD!) when he passes away - naturally I wanted to ready ourselves for this, I mean one minute we're really happy about something and the next this happens . 2 - Complete any Super Mario games featuring Bowser, preferably any you have never completed before. I plan to aim for the DS games Super Princess Peach (which out of the two looks most likely to be completed first) and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and someone on Facebook also suggested Super Mario Sunshine. Sadly my own fears of something happy occuring one minute and then Dennis dies the next were in fact realized a whole **** lot more than what I bargained for, so both as tribute to Dennis and to kinda make up for/put my mind at ease (even if only slightly) about the ill-timing of Dennis's death I plan to complete my two aforementioned games hopefully in time for when the happy moment occurs again...
