Updated the site with the news. As it turns out, it's been exactly one year since the last update! Man, am I glad for some sort of official BOH news.
Also, JJ, saw the photo of your collection in the FB thread. Nice!!

Yes!!! Thats going to be so rad! Judging by pics for their previously released figures, these could be really well done.
JJ cool to see pics of your Bucky figure collection also. I swear, its like you have a little museum with all the prototypes and concept art lol.

Dude, I can't believe they don't have a Serious Dogstar action figure! He is the best character in the entire Bucky O'Hare aniverse. Everyone just hating on the progress.

All he did was expand the war effort by commissioning seven new frigates, and then he got assassinated. It's not fair.

My girlfriend's mom was over and looking at my display, and she looks at me kinda confused and goes "JJ, one day you'll have to explain this to me..." Hahaha. But I'm pretty excited for the Boss Fights line. I randomly backed their first toyline and got a really sick Medusa figure out of it. SUPER high quality! The only concern I have at this point is that sometimes 4-inch figures can get too skinny. New Star Wars figures have that problem, and it's kept me from buying one for 10 years. On the other hand, Sentinel's 4-inch Nel Mega Man line is killer. I guess it's all about the proportions. If they hit that awesome Michael Golden style I think they'll turn out just fine. And have they announced how many figures will be in the first wave? I assume something like 4, MAYBE 6? So discussion time! If they're only doing 4 or 6 figures in the first wave, do you want to see them hit the crew of the Righteous Indignation before doing bad guys and supporting heroes? Or would you rather get some bad guys for Bucky and (hopefully) Jenny to fight? Kinda tough... The pessimist in me assumes that we're only getting one wave since I can't imagine there being a huge demand for this. So if we're only getting one shot at it, I can't decide whether I want the full crew, or if I want the main good guys and like, Storm Toad and Toadborg. If we only get 4, I think Shocker Toys had the right lineup with Bucky, Jenny, Deadeye, and Storm Toad. If we had 6, I'd add Toadborg for sure and maybe Bruiser? Or I dunno, maybe Al Negator? One thing's for sure, keep Blinky and Air Marshall for round 2! We don't need them screwing things up this time around! -JJ |
