oh wow! Thanks JJ! I LOVE the model of the RI, in fact if these figures and models were made available I'd buy at least two of the RI - to use some as the ship, and the rest in the diner form.
And yes, out of the figures, my first two choices would be the famous Jenny figure and Kamikaze Kamo, the latter because of the... significance of the episode 'The Warriors' ;D In such a case, villain-wise my first choice would be Sly LeZarde (alongside the Komplex-2-Go figure I have also heard about...)... I think I told y'all once, in my BOH figure RPs I had to use an Earth toad plushie as the big K...
I assume these images will be posted in the Merchandise section?

Ha, I had a feeling you'd get a thrill out of this. I remember coming across this magazine when I was 11 or 12 and just FREAKING OUT! I was so heartbroken when I read that the figures were never going to be released.
Nutmeg, to my understanding, none of the toys made it out (I know, brings tears to my eye too). There is one Jenny figure that popped up on eBay years ago, and there was also a Rumblebee prototype that was on eBay, but as far as I know, those were not obtained from a store.
I think what impresses me most about this second wave, and the third wave we've seen snippets of, is that unlike most toylines, BoH filled the waves with new characters. Batman toylines usually have 5 Batman repaints, and MAYBE a villain. How many Luke Skywalker figures are there? But the only noew Bucky is awesome cause he's from an episode! I'd LOVE to own the Bucky from the series finale! That'd be great!
In terms of vehicles, I was little confused about them making up two ships, but then I realized that beyond the Screaming Mimi and the Indefatigable, there aren't really any other ships to make, short of a Toad Mothership (which WOULD rock... think Technidrome from TMNT).
I get so angry whenever I think about the reasons that Bucky's life was cut short. I get so mad when I think about how the brilliant minds at Kenner oversaturated the market with Toad Air Marshals and Blinkys, and not enough Buckys. AAH! Had they stocked figures evenly, there wouldnt be a surplus of the oversaturated figures that nobody wanted, and thus stores would order more figures! Had that happened, we'd have gotten a Season 2 of Bucky O'Hare and Wave 2 of these amazing figures.
**** the powers that be...

How many Luke Skywalker figures are there? Not that many in the grand scheme of things, actually, and don't knock the Hasbro/Kenner Star Wars toyline. Pretty much every character who ever appeared in the films has been immortalized in plastic. Last year, they released a box set containing figures of every single senior Imperial at the boardroom meeting on the Death Star. Star Wars is a huge merchandising machine to be sure, but I think it's quite unusual for them to give fans such a variety of characters to choose from, whereas most toylines only have the main good guys and the main bad guys and that's it. Bucky O'Hare could've become like Star Wars in this regard; further down the line in a third wave we might have finally gotten Frix and Frax and maybe Mimi for instance. But the only noew Bucky is awesome cause he's from an episode! Technically speaking the Bucky figure that was released was an episode-specific figure, sort of. He's wearing the breathing apparatus he wore in Kreation Konspiracy and The Komplex Caper, only minus the fishbowl helmet. Anyway, these figures look pretty awesome, especially the Bucky one and the one of Sly Leezard. The Jenny figure has gotten so much press that it's nice to finally see good, close-up views of the other figures from this wave.

Meanwhile, somewhere at the Hasbro Prototype Storage Facility... Armed security guards walk the fenced perimeter in the dark of pre-dawn, oblivious to the small group gathering in the shadows twenty feet from them. POW (in undertone, pressing black comm unit against neck) I count four sets of guards walking in pairs. They pass in fifteen minutes intervals. Next WOO in 14 minutes. RYGAR (voiceover, semi-crackly in earpieces of the gathered ops) Roger that. Alpha Squad, move in and secure evac route. Beta Squad, prepare to move in. Not far away, a second group of four crouch in the shadows. JJ (in undertone, pressing black comm unit against neck) Roger that, Base. Beta Squad in position and ready for Green. POW (in undertone, pressing black comm unit against neck) We copy, Beta Leader. Alpha Squad, moving in. (motions with one hand and is followed by three others) Stay low, stay quiet, stay alive. POW leads her unit into the area, subduing a few guards to secure a doorway with an electronic key pad. WILD GOOSE (standing with back to wall, eyeing the other guards in the area, in undertone, pressing black comm unit against neck) Alpha Leader, evac route secured. We got 12 minutes. POW (in undertone, pressing black comm unit against neck) Good work, Goose. Beta Leader, this is Alpha Leader. You are green to go. JJ and his three start moving into the base. JJ (in undertone, pressing black comm unit against neck) Thanks, Alpha Leader. Koosh, pop that door. POW (in undertone, pressing black comm unit against neck, nod to JJ) Good luck. JJ and his three move into the area, and KOOSHMEISTER pulls out a high-tech looking gizmo and connnects its wires to the keypads. A few moments later and the indicator light on the keypad goes green and the door clicks open. KOOSHMEISTER (in undertone, pushes door open for JJ and team) After you, sir. ...okay, I can't do anymore. Baby's had me get up like ten times already, and now I've lost track of where I was going with this reply... oh well.
