www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1u6VzCsD4w'Somewhere my Love' (or as I affectionately call it, the Dancing Goombas' Song) by Frankie Yankovic. If you scroll down you'll see two of the comments suggest the possibility maybe this song was added into the movie because it sounds similar to the underwater music from the original Mario game (yes the stages with the Bloopers - or "LUNCH!!" as I call them because squid is actually my favorite food ;D)! I know the movie has a lot of references to Super Mario 1 through World and even the original Donkey Kong game (i.e. Scapelli gets turned into a monkey at the construction site - remember Donkey Kong, which is set at a construction site, was Mario's first appearance)... but I never noticed this one! Also with Bowser being the 'King Dad' of the Koopalings, I wonder if Lena (Koopa's girlfriend in the movie) is the supposed 'Queen Mom' who has never been mentioned? I never played Deadly Creatures, is it good? Dennis's funeral was yesterday (I saw the news reports about it), I bet it must have been a real sad affair. But as promised, mom and I paid one-half of our own respects and watched Super Mario Bros.. I've also bought more Bowser-inclusive Mario games 0:-)

Cool songs, RI! The Polka one was funny. I think I liked it the best.
Death's Introduction Scene in Supernatural
I kinda like how they went with this scene. Death is going to destroy Chicago with a monstrous storm and this is him entering the city.

Thanks Sonicheroes4ever, I was actually considering doing a thread on DQ9 -to see how anyone else is enjoying the game, and maybe if anyone is making any BOH characters in it LOL- but I thought nah, first I'd better get second thoughts before I do make the final decision. Oh, and did I forget to mention you can unlock the accolade 'Deadeye' in the game?

www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-jEbUhcw5A&feature=player_embeddedI often said this song would make the perfect stage theme for M Bison, especially Raul Julia's portrayal of he (you can't deny it...)... then last night a friend posted this video on my Facebook page in light of a certain Van Damme movie coming on TV tonight. I'm impressed! Bad, BAD Chun Li though... www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrjU4WZeaSkThe Dragon Quest 9 commercial featuring Seth Green. God I am so addicted to Dragon Quest 9, it even took me almost a fortnight to decide on the final draft for my battle party! Oh, I almost forgot to mention you can also unlock a Bruiser accolade? ;D

www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZ8htD9nxMkEven the 2000 remix of The Final Countdown is now all the more beautiful! Oh yes, and I have two more you-know-whats coming up - the first of which will be on our very own Mad Cat's birthday (before anyone asks, the second is on Sept 4). I say about The Final Countdown being a perfect theme for Bison, then not one but THREE Street Fighter videos set to said song turn up in the advent to me getting more you-know-whats... is it a coincidence, or fate??

Thanks Sonic, gee I wonder why you'd post the medley up after my post (i.e. the Street Fighter theme)? ;D The Duck Tales music is also appropriate, what with Capcom having made numerous Disney titles for the NES and SNES (including both of the Duck Tales games), and yes The Moon is my favourite stage in honour of Bucky O'Hare. In fact, Duck Tales was my very first Capcom game! Never was keen on Duck Hunt though, the obvious aside I SUCKED at it! www.youtube.com/watch?v=jv163P-WQJ8This -and its use in the arcade game- are the only times when I like to hear the words "Game over!" Btw yes I admit I support cheating in videogames, for not only success but also style/glamour/fashion/whatever (even in a game, I feel it's important to take pride in one's appearance!). www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDjF5sxiSlERaul M Bison tribute... awwww...

What the hell is up with Parodius Pachinko?

I think a Pachinko is supposed to be some sort of Japanese slot machine game with animations and stuff. Parodius... well those games just crack me up, they are so hilarious! My first one was Parodius Da! (sadly I've never played the original MSX Parodius), I got it when I was 13 and omg I just cracked up with laughter! At one time I considered this Fantastic Journey (AKA Gokujou Parodius tune as a possible theme for Jenny the Aldeberan Cat: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImChwjMxY40&feature=related
