A rocky desert world located farther from Genus than most planets, once a toad mining encampment until it was liberated some years back.
Now, the mines, which produce the volatile mineral known as agracite, have been taken over by a small front company owned by Baltus Raynham, and the mines are once again worked by slave laborers: only this time, they're not slaving for the Toad Empire, but rather for a bunch of ruthless, snappily-dressed mammal gangsters, and, surprisingly, there are even a few captured Stormtoads among the workers.
How Raynham and his men managed to get them is unknown, although it's rumored that during the early days of the Toad Wars the gangsters were bold enough to attack toad cargo vessels, taking the crews as slaves, and toad slave ships, using both the imprisoned mammals and their erstwhile toad captors to work their mines.
Currently, MacGruder the squirrel and Jones the beaver stand waiting at the encampment's recently-constructed landing pad. MacGruder is holding another briefcase, no doubt containing the mysterious Mr. Dante's second payment of simoleons. Behind them, a bear and a gorilla wearing ill-fitting business suits and toting enormous maser rifles, stand guard beside a stack of metallic crates.

The fighter streaks down and spins around, landing smoothly in a gentle coud of dust. Dante hops out and looks around. He chuckles at the sight of the slaves and walks up to MacGruder.
"Here as promised, squirrel boy." Dante says calmly as he looks at teh crates. "THose the shipment? Got loaders to move them on?"
Looks at the slaves agin and smiles.
"Cheap labor, gotta love it. I see a few toads there. Nice touch." Dante chuckles again as he turns to the squirrel. "Let's talk business."

"Yes," said MacGruder, glancing over at the mine workers nearby as well, "all are equal here, or something equally cliched along those lines. They were all taken from some toad slave ships we waylayed about three years ago." He let loose a harsh chuckle.
In response to Dante's question about loaders, he added, "Of course," and signaled to the bear and gorilla thugs who slung the maser rifles over their shoulders and went to retrieve the wheeled carts necessary to load the crates aboard Dante's ship.
Turning back to Dante he held up the briefcase and said, "Yes, business. Now, I have here your second payment of five-hundred-thousand simoleons. Were you Mr. Damien this would've only been your first payment, but like Saul said he likes your moxie. You're to take these five crates to Genus, getting them past customs, where you will receive your final payment of five-hundred-thousand."

"Cake walk, kid." Dante snorts and snatches the briefcase.
He walks around to teh back of his fighter and pushes a panel between the engines. A section opens, revealing a hidden compartment between the egines and fuel containers.
"Put them in there. THey stay cool enough and the emissions from teh engines and fuel will cover them." Dante says calmly.
He walks over and pops open teh briefcase, whistling at the sight of the money. He walks over and climbs up on teh side of the cockpit and sits there, waiting.

"That may be," MacGruder said as the two huge thugs began loading the crates, "but you're still doing us a great service, and just as Mr. Raynham never forgets to pay back those who cross him, he also never forgets to reward those who help him. If you pull this, you'll definitely be seeing some repeat business from us, as it were."
The goons finished loading and stepped off of Dante's ship, nodding wordlessly to MacGruder to indicate that they were through. He then sent them and Jones off somewhere. MacGruder smiled and said, "All done."

Dante nods and slides into the cockpit.
"See you there then." He says as the top closes downward.
The fighter rises quickly in a large cloud of dust adn streaks towards space. Dante smiles as he guides teh fighter through the atmosphere.
"Easiest money i ever made. I hope that i can get a crack at that wimp after i am all done here." He says as he leans back in his seat.

From a mile away across the desert Korporal Kvetch watches the ship leave the mining camp. He and his squad of Stormtoads are standing in a recently dug pit under some camouflage netting.
"Ships leavin' " he says, as he lowers his binoculars, "we'll be moving aht in a few minutes. No one steuls from the Empire and gits away wiv it".

MacGruder turned to Jones. "Well, I guess we should go and inform the boss that he's going to be getting his shipment of agracite after all." To the goons, he said, "You two stay here and guard the landing pad until Saul returns, got it?"

Kvetch's and his seven stormtoads are wearing yellow/sand brown uniform rather than blue/green. He covers his face with camouflage stripes using a paint stick and then hands it around.
"Remember lads, we want to kill the people runnin' this place withaht lettin' the slaves git away. You four, circle round to tha north. I'll give you ten minutes."

As they head back to the main compound, the gorilla goon suddenly stops and sniffs. "Hey, boss," he blurts out, "I smell toadies!"
MacGruder blinks, turning and looking around, then frowns. Jones says, "You idiot! We have toads here already, or did your walnut-sized brain overlook that piece of info?"
"Sorry," the goon says sheepishly.

"Shame the Major couldn't be here, this is just his sort of thing. O.K. lads, lets get movin'. Use the cover, wait to fire 'till you've got a kill shot and don't be afraid to get in there with your bayonet."
They start moving towards the mine, keeping outcrops of rock between it and them.

Kvetch stares down his gun sight at the gorilla. Nasty, brutish looking thing, he thinks. Could stop an attack by swinging its arms around. Best not give it the chance. He waives to the stormtoad with the particle beamer and points.
"I want that nasty monkey down, yeah? Could do us a mischief."
The toad nods. As far as Kvetch is concerned, that covers the planning side of the attack. Would the others have got into position now? Kvetch had stopped caring. Waiting was boring, especially with the target sitting there so provocatively. He picked a target, one of the mammals in fancy cloths next to the gorilla.
"On my mark..."
Kvetch fired, the beams from his maser rifle hitting Jones first in the stomach and then in the head. Kvetch grinned as he fell. Yeah, that was the stuff. The wide particle beam hit the surprised gorilla and reduced most of its chest to pink mist. The other two took down one of the remaining guards between them. On the other side of the platform he could just see the other half of his squad running into position.
"At them!"
Kvetch charged.

"What the--?!" MacGruder gasped as Jones beside him received a rather nasty hit to the stomach from a maser blast that came out of nowhere, blowing a hole through him. The beaver collapsed, and then the gorilla goon was hit as well. The bovine goon managed to get a few shots off in the general direction of the toads before he, too, was cut down, and MacGruder took off running for the main compound. "Sound the alarms! We're under attack! Guards! GUARDS!"
Only the perimeter guards of the camp were armed with maser rifles. The overseers within the walled enclosure where the slaves worked were armed only with heavy sticks and clubs and whips, so that if the slaves decided to revolt these would be the only weapons immediately within their reach, and no use against the perimeter guards with their masers, who could kill them one at a time at will from their positions on the wall and in watchtowers. Now, though, as the toads stormed the camp and the perimeter guards were already being picked off by the toads, the overseers were pretty much defenseless against the invaders.
The reaction amongst the slaves was mixed. The mammals of course, disliking the toads, were sure that they would just go out of the frying pan and into the fire, as it were, while the few toads that the mobsters had managed to enslaved of course cheered on their invading comrades. Regardless, though, none of the slaves simply stood around and watched the battle, and it was absolute chaos as the slaves, toads and mammals alike, either ran back and forth in differant directions like chickens with their heads cut off, or attacked the cruel overseers and began beating them to the ground with their own clubs and sticks; one unfortunate fellow, a goat, ended up being strangled to death with his own whip by a hedgehog he'd abused one time too many...

The grin on Kvetch's face broadened at the anarchy within the compound. Leaping over the body of a guard he spots the other mammal in fancy clothes sneaking away.
"Heh."
He raises his rifle... then drops it, clutching his head.
"Argh! O.K., not firin'. Taken 'im prisoner. Right."
Kvetch started running after him.

MacGruder ran and ducked behind the corner of the main compound, just as a new outpouring of roughly ten or twelve guards armed with maser rifles came out the front doors of the building.
