Situated several miles outside of Capital City is a derelict warehouse with overgrown, rusty tracks running straight through. This old depot consists of a freight depot, a single-line engine shed and a small workshop. The tracks double through the depot but then single again afterward. All the points are controlled by a ground-frame nearby. When the depot was closed barely ten years ago, the track and the buildings fell into decay, and better suits a scene for The Ghost Train. Outside the shed is a near-derelict 4-4-3 Class 12 steam engine from Belgium, perhaps the relic of a bygone age. Yet in this spooky place, the workshop light is on... OOC: SNCB Class 12 - Streamlined locomotive used on Belgian Railways. Further information unavailable.

In the old workshop were a few planks of rotten wood that were to be machined into railway sleepers, with a rusty old lathe sitting on the bench.
Major Padd sat at the bench, examining the railway map by the light of a torch. Waiting patiently for Renfield, she examined her watch to check the time.

A large unmarked, windowless van pulled up outside the depot, then drove inside. Renfield Billings was behind the wheel and he got out, shutting the motor off but leaving the headlights turned on. He winced as the slamming of the driver's side door echoed through the old abandoned building. It didn't seem like there was anyone around for miles.
Spying the light in the workshop he felt some relief at the fact Padd was apparently here after all, and then went around to the back and banged on the doors with his fist. The van rocked and then the sliding door opened and Blau stepped out. Renfield stepped back as the rear doors opened and Anders emerged as well. The stolen hoverbike could be seen in the van's cargo bay.
As the bodyguards stretched from the trip, Renfield cleared his throat and called out softly, "Padd? Major Padd? Are you here?"

"Yes, I'm here," Padd looked up and saw Renfield at the door.
Placing the map back in her pocket, she shone the torch onto the rusty track.
"Assuming they'll take the train to get here, I'll need your help for the next part of my plan."

Renfield nodded, sighing. He paused and checked his watch, wondering how long this was going to take. He'd be missed at the office before long. "What do you want me to do?"

She handed the torch to him.
"Give this to one of your colleagues and tell them to stand further up the track and shine the torch all over the place," she began, pointing to the track that continued away from both depots.
Padd then picked up a pickaxe and moved to the track. "With them distracted by the light, they won't see that a section of rail will have been removed, and then...(imitates explosion)."

Renfield accepted the flashlight and nodded, sighing. He walked over to the two goons and handed Anders the light, giving him the same instructions Padd had given him. Returning to Padd, he said, "All right, they know the drill now. What do you want me to do?"

She gave Renfield a thick rope.
"When the train derails, tie up any survivors and I'll deal with them myself."

OOC: Sorry for the delay. I've had some offline issues I needed to work out.
Renfield accepted the rope and nodded, then he and his bodyguards moved into position.

OOC: No problem.
IC: Padd positioned herself on the roof of the near-derelict locomotive nearby, with a fieldglass in hand, and nearly fell off in surprise.

Hearing Padd's fall, Renfield glanced over, wondering what was going on.

Padd looked over to Renfield.
"Either I'm seeing things, someone has drugged me, or the machines on this planet are coming to life." she blinked unbelievably.

"Huh?" said Renfield, walking over to where Padd stood. What in the world was she talking about?

Padd adjusted the range on her binoculars so they were looking straight at the Depot down below, just outside of Capital City.
"See it?" she asked, pointing to Sabrina while holding the binoculars out to Renfield.

Renfield took the binoculars and looked through them. "See what?" he asked.
