DOGSTAR: Commander Dogstar to Valiant. Looks like we scared the fly-guzzling rats away. We'll meet you in Sector 21, boys! Dogstar out.

That's putting it mildly, Dogstar. *and snaps at Drake, but in a comradely fashion* Oh, hush. I'll never understand why anyone would get upset over damage done to a vehicle designed for battle. Gunts as he gives the ship engines and systems a once over. Sure, say that now, but this gals my baby and every ding and bang and hole put into her slows me down on fixing her and us on getting there. You wouldn't want to take a dive in the ocean without an air tank, now would ya? Takes a seat once again when all seems good. 'sides, the less damaged she is, the less repair work I have to do to keep her running. Wouldn't do to have us stranded in space, now would it cap'n?

This is Genus Control to Valiant, standby for radio-scanning. Scan frequency 1296-48331 on Security Code B. Acknowledge this transmission once you have determined the source of the signal. Genus Control out.
