That sounds like a good idea I haven't done a drawing of Komplex yet. And I have the day off tomorrow. So I'll have time to play around with a couple of drawings.
I looked in the fan art and didn't see any pics with komplex and a cape. Sounds interesting. I'd like to see it. I think everybody draws capes differently. I know I use to draw that guy from the Max. That has that cape that runs all over the floor.

LOL no I don't have a fanart page, nor do I have a camera or a scanner. Also all of my art is pencil sketches (though I have given color guidelines for some of my work), I'll color everything in once I have filled both art pads.
Also most of my fanart is of drafting and redrafting my own character in the show, I don't think everyone would want to see all of those pics LOL

It was a long time before I ever got a camera or a scanner. Maybe one day I'll buy some art paper. I use copy machine paper. I tell you my high school art teacher would disown me..

LOL when I was in junior school, the kids in my class would all do lots of 'best teacher' cards for our teacher at the time, Miss Wright. However we got told off once for using her sugar paper. I understand we were in the wrong but in our defenses, how were we to know it was the sugar paper? I also used to do some (very bad) art on the 'paint' option on my school computer, and sometimes I printed it off - with or without consent, but who gives a [darn]? Some of it was of Deadeye being held on the Red Planet (in the Bucky O'Hare NES game), headshots of Deadeye, Jenny and Bucky... and when a lot of tormenting I endured at school resulted in a recurring nightmare about... if Toadborg really does jettison them into Space, I would often do art of THAT SCENE in The Good, The Bad & The Warty as a means of expressing my sorrows through art. Awwww... I look forward to your Komplex art!

While here is Komplex. I gave it some gray scale so I could show my ideas about light. Which is important because of Bucky's weapon. I have to say it's been a while since I've done a cape. Those capes are fun though. I don't know if I got Komplex's feet right. and I meant to add some hoes to him. I also forgot to give Bucky boots. But that is the great thing about computers. I can fix all that without to much trouble.

Yeah, but I should of ran it all the way threw Komplex. It would have been better.
It was fun though. I'm definitely going to draw a detail of komplex. It will be nice to take a rest from the line art for a while.
It seems like the bad guys are the ones. That are always the coolest to draw.

O.k. I have to say I feel the last Komplex togo was kind of lazy of me. So I updated it. I studied a couple transformers, and looked at how artist handled their lines on them. I wanted to draw Komplex at more of an angle. He was to flat in the last one. And I wanted to try and put Bucky in a pose that fit his profile face better. Their are still a million mistakes. But I'm happy with it. I can't go much tighter than this. I wish I could though. I wimped out on the black cape. I was struggling with how to work it in.

oh it's okay, I'm not griping about you wiping out the cape. Maybe he only uses it on special occasions? And 'flat' or no, no I don't think your first attempt was 'lazy', take it from a true fan! ;D Your second attempt is very good, of course. Where are they fighting? Also I think Deadeye Duck would look rather splendid with a very long, ankle-length cape which also drapes over his front side - yes so he can flick it back if he so desires ;D. How about an orange silk one with a red SPACE 'Winged Star' on the back?

[frell] The Incredibles, in case you ain't noticed the Cap'n has a cape! Also, my fan fiction self has a Final Fantasy-style White Cape, because white is my favorite color

I don't know about a cape for dead eye. He is more of a wild west rough and tough character. Where capes are more. Of the big hero who sweeps in on a white horse to save the day. Kind of character.
Maybe I could see dead eye in a duster, or trench coat. But I don't think a cape fits him. But on the other hand pirates did ware capes.

LOL I was going to say, Deadeye is a pirate not a cowboy. Though yes your idea of infant Deadeye playing cowboys is very funny! I suppose Deadeye could wear a duster or a trenchcoat, however if you give the cape a nod then perhaps you could have him wearing it for a special occasion, like an extravagant party? I myself like to imagine him wearing a Spanish-style waistcoat suit, maybe he could show off any tattoos he's wearing But in regards to your comment about capes only being for a 'big hero who sweeps in on his horse to save the day' kind of character... let's face it Deadeye IS rather dashing! According to my fan fiction, he receives the cape as a birthday present

If you watch the bucky o'hare episode "the taking of jenny" part 2. In the second scene it's the background for when the crew is escaping toad brog.
