I stumbled across this site one day while looking up Continuity Comics. I didn't really watch the show but did enjoy the graphic novel. I didn't realize it got expanded in the UK to more issues. Unfortunately I haven't found any place online to buy the issues from.
I decided to watch an episode on youtube one day. That's when I created the monster. My four and half year old is now obsessed with Bucky O'Hare. I happened to noticed a plush version on ebay so he carries that with him a lot. I printed out a page for him to color. Unlike all previous coloring I've seen him do in the past he tried very hard to get the correct colors for Bucky O'Hare. He would even look at his doll to determine what the colors should be.
I haven't read the web series here yet. I don't think he will appreciate that yet. He just got a new teddy bear due to a trip to the doctors to get some stitches. My wife decided to call him Commander Teddy and have him work with Bucky. (I wish she had chosen a better name but alas it is too late for that.)

My son has a magnet playset that we were given. He enjoys playing with it but I thought he might be interested in Bucky O'Hare magnets. I modified the space handbook image of Bucky to remove everything except him. I printed him out at 1 inch tall. After sticking him to a magnet sheet for a 5"x4" photo, I cut out the image. It worked pretty well. My wife says it is a little too small for my son to use easily. My next test will probably be printed at 1 1/2 or 2 inches tall to see if that works better. You can see one of the magnets that came with the playset in this image as well. They have a wooden back so are thicker that my magnet. That would make it easily to manipulate and more durable.
