The Doctor frowned slightly.
"So, either struck dumb or paralyzed," the Doctor thought aloud. "I must ask you both to leave whilst I examine him."
The guard nodded and turned to leave.

"Wotevah."
Kvetch turned and sauntered out of the medical bay. He was in no hurry.

Once the door shut, everything fell silent, and the guard waited outside the door to see what the verdict was.

Kvetch leaned against the wall outside the medical bay. He gets a knife from his belt and begins cleaning his fingernails.

"I take it you're used to using knives like that." grunted the guard dully.

Kvetch paused, and slowly moved his head around to look at the guard. He grinned a nasty grin.
"Among uvver fings. Seen much action yerself?"

"Not much, truth be told," sighed the guard. "The closest thing to action you get to see when you're in my job is the aftermath."

"I can imagine," nodded the Guard. "But trust me, if action is something you enjoy, don't apply for escort duty, there's no escaping it."
Suddenly the door slid open and the Doctor re-emerged.
"It seems as thought the Lieutenant has over-strained himself," he concluded. "He's been paralyzed somehow. I'll need longer to determine if it was natural or if he were attacked somehow."

"Goht tha' one roit."
Kvetch folded his knife away when the doctor came through.
"Din't see any enemy. Locals dun't seem t'use poison."

"That's as maybe," agreed the Doctor. "But supposing that it wasn't a local? Until the X-Rays are developed in a moment, we shall have to assume that either it was natural, or there is a traitor among us."
He moved back inside to recieve the X-Rays from a feeder-slot in the wall.

"I didn't mean alien invaders, Sergeant," the Doctor answered. "I mean that one of T'saos' soldiers could be responsible,"
He examined the X-Ray, which had photographed the muscles as well as the skeleton.
"And this seems to prove me right." He pointed to a poison-dart embedded in the chest.
