Hi there, Recently in my FanFictions, I created a set of Toad Troops called the ST (Superior Toads). I created the ST as KOMPLEX'S equivalent of the Waffen-SS. Commanded by the Toad Field Marshal, the only officers are Captain Pritchard and Lt. Carne, with three platoons of 23 Toads as well as a Sgt. and a Crpl. each (Except for Corporal Raskin of Delta Platoon who was captured in CHECKMATE)
I would like your opinion on the ST, and any suggestions on how it could be improved. I intend to give the ST a comeback, but I'd like your opinions first.
Many Thanks Andrew
PS: Yes, it's the same Andrew Norris as that stupid XL6 pilot.

Well, it sounds like a positively smashing idea to me, Andrew. I'm for anything being done with the toads. Well, anything constructive, anyway.

Thanks, it was just an idea to make the Toads seem more ruthless by having an entire group of Toads similar to Creelevard as a kind of Toad SS. But I just feel that it doesn't all fit together, as though I'm missing something. Which was why I asked for any opinions. The ST have appeared in the following episodes:
CHECKMATE (Debut Of The ST)
FATAL ALLIANCE (Cameo with Toad Field Marshal)
The next episode I'm working on that features the ST (Entitled ONE VAN DAMME THING AFTER ANOTHER) explains their ruthlessness. An unidentified radio beam that has been traced to Genus (Later found to be the aftermath of an ultramagnetic transmitter) is slowly deteriorating KOMPLEX'S controls over the Toads, and is too powerful to withstand secondary and emergency power from KOMPLEX. The ST and Creelevard are sent to restore order when the Toads slowly begin to break free of their control. (But, needless to say, KOMPLEX regains power). The title derives from the DVD that powers the Transmitter, a copy of a "Street Fighter" film.
Feel free to state any opinions.

Toad SSS? Bring it on!XD I'd sure like to see military worked into the toads... At least, to prove that they deserve the title "menace" in the show....

My thoughts exactly. If they are a menace, then they wouldn't keep running away from the first Beserker Baboon they see. Plus, I wanted to try and make the Toads look a bit like the Nazis, hence the Toad SS (ST).
When I began to develop more realistic storylines, I decided to make the Toad Wars look more like a high-tech version of WW2. That's when thinks like The Genus Home Guard and The First Toad War came into being.
The Home Guard was designed as a very low-budget auxiliary defence unit, first starring in BUCKY'S ARMY (A parody of DAD'S ARMY) Capt. Shirley Squirrel is the head of the Home Guard after taking over from Bucky. Next is Lt. Billon, Sgt. Linen and Crpl. Kingston (Jones). Other members are George Blade (Frazer), Charles Comfrey (Godfrey) and Michael Mallard (Walker). In the first episode, there is a brief mention of a Pvt. Wilson, referring to Sgt. Wilson.
The Home Guard use captured Toad rifles and disused equipment from the First Toad Wars as part of their kits. In the poorly-structured episode, THE HOME GUARD GAMBIT, The Toad Fleet-Pilot (Later killed in the episode) gives a donation to the Home Guard in anonymus, concluding that they'll spend it on a New HQ, where he can flatten them. However, they buy a rickety WW1 British Tank to expand their weaponry. When the Home Guard are absent from duty, a fleet of five Garbage Scows take their place. Most of the members are veterans from the First Toad War and the Boar War on Rigel 1 shortly before that. (Copying the Boer War) There is a second platoon being set up currently, the only members being 2nd Lt. Francis Reginald, and Staff Sergeant Major Vincent Dumas.
The First Toad War lasted between 3192 and 3196, being given several mentions in early episodes, but not seen in detail until BACK TO THE TRENCHES. Situated on Planet Gaul 1, General Vilestrom (A Toad equivalent of Kaiser Wilhelm) is fighting against Field Marshal Sir Edward Gaigh (Field Marshal Haig) in one huge bloodbath. Several battles from WW1 are mentioned in a space age tone:
Somme - Semme Gallipoli - Gallopellzi Ypres - Zpres Verdun - Vardien Ancre - Ankrei No-Man's Land - No Mammal's Land
The Toad Army has been narrowed from ten million down to just nine, including the only toad officer alive, Capt. Smata (Currently a Lt, the only veteran to survive into KOMPLEX's era) They mostly rely on captured tanks (The same British Tanks mentioned earlier) and covering fire from Baron Von Swamphoven (Red Baron Von Richthoven), while the Mammals rely on the Mammal Flying Corps (Royal Flying Corps) and maser cannon emplacements. The Mammals are led by Capt. Hudson (Later, Admiral Hudson) and Lt. Colthurst (Later killed). Gaigh once had an army of eight million mammals, now just eight (Excluding the officers). An attachment of the Royal Stoat Fusiliers (Royal Scot Fusiliers) was sent, but out of the 60 troops, only the NCO survives (Crpl. Kingston). Exhausted of men and equipment, an armistice is signed.
Phew!

Not to pick too many nits, but the Toad Empire always reminded me more of the Galactic Empire in Star Wars than they did the Germans in World War I or II. Still, some interesting paralels there.
My only question is what provoked the first toad war? I thought the toads were peaceful until KOMPLEX came into being, which is the primary reason everyone was so unprepared for their massive military buildup.

The Toads were peaceful before KOMPLEX took over. What happened was this:
KOMPLEX was still a server robot at this point, and the head of the Toad Military was General Vilestrom. Equally as power-hungry as the Kaiser, he became intrigued of an assasination of the Archduke of Croako-Slimy (Austro-Hungary) in Splatajevo (Sarajevo). Convinced that a Mammal was to blame (As it was a fox that shot the Archduke), Vilestrom began to invade the mammal-owned Gaul 1 with his enormous army, yet the planetary defences built by the mammals led to a stalemate, and that sparked the First Toad War.
After the armistice, Vilestrom was murdered by a lynch mob of Toads in vengeance of the bloodbath he'd started. When KOMPLEX took over, he learnt of Vilestrom's motives and planned to repeat them not just for his own insane motives, but to prove that he could ot make mistakes like Vilestrom.
I didn't get around to putting this in BACK TO THE TRENCHES, as it would've been too long, but now you know.

Wait aminute... isn't there an episode in Season 3 that gives a clue on why KOMPLEX becomes evil? The fourth creator who released a virus which infects KOMPLEX? I forgot his name though.
So I just think that KOMPLEX is probably continuing the fourth creator's ambition, and launches its first attack on... what's that Raccon planet's name? I forgot again. (The one where Bucky's father was killed?)
Hm, okay, there's an empty slot of time line between the Raccoon invasion and KOMPLEX's virus infection. (plus the years where KOMPLEX turned the Toad Homeworld into what it is now)
Well, this First War setting gives me quite a headache. Will somebody correct me whether I mixed things up?
*busted brain gear*
Koosh has a point there about the similarities... I think BoH Has a more similar feel to Star Wars... Toadborg is definitely Darth Vader. Al Negator is Bobba Fett ...The setting is in space etc. AND Bucky here has a lightsaber. But still, an SSS squad is tempting lol...

I just played my cousins Star Wars battle front and the way the blaster fire is exchanged reminded me of the gun fights in the web series and the use of vehicles also created a bit of BoH spark as well. XD

I know there are loads of links to Star Wars, but I'm trying to look at the war side of Bucky O' Hare rather than the science-fiction.
Yes, the Fourth Creator did cause KOMPLEX to go haywire, but his interest in Vilestrom's motives came shortly after he took over. The Racoon Planet you're thinking of is Noctur II, where most of the O' Hare clan perished.
I'm not really a Star Wars fan, so I'm keeping all the lightsabers etc. to a minimum in my stories and concetrating on other possible cross-breeds, like Dr. Who with the Daleks or the Martians from WAR OF THE WORLDS (Featured in INVADERS FROM THE RED PLANET) I don't like to cross-breed BOH with any silly childrens shows like ATOMIC BETTY, as the vast amount of aliens featured in those stories make a plotline lose its seroius-ness (Hence why I restricted FATAL ALLIANCE to just Buzz, Zurg and the usual sidekicks/henchmen)

I'm not a fan of Star Wars myself but I definitely enjoyed their latest game even though I have no idea what those furry midgets are in one of the missions XD

Indeed, but I think STAR WARS was more into intergalactic politics more than the idea of an enormous space war that most people see. In all honesty, I find it a bore. Give me DOCTOR WHO any day (Except for the new one, I don't think the idea of Dr. Who having s*x with his companion will catch on).

I forgot to mention, I'm doing a reference to the Nazis in a later story, NOUGHTS & HOOKED CROSSES. A bunch of Neo-Nazis, led by Brigadegeneral Von Hughez are planning to take control of the Soviet Mothership and conquer a fraction of the Aniverse with their "V3 Planet Destroyer", powered by the energy of two Alderbarrens. It is learnt that Von Hughez was actually the ex-wife of Communist General Osiris, and Lt. Sellers had a german friend who was killed by the same Neo-Nazis, leading to a lenghty speech about how the Germans are fed up of being reminded about their past. Just thought I'd mention it.
