You guys ever heard of a program called "RPG Maker"? It's a program that allows us to create our own RPG. It's my current toy,. Anyways, here's a screenshot I tried making with the program...I just thought it might look cute. XD I'm still figuring out hot to create a more varying BG, but still stumped.... so excuse me... XD

I've got a version of RPG maker 2003 floating around my home computer, but it's kind of useless since all my work has this odd habit of getting wiped out every 3-6 months and I really stopped bothering... **** operating system ...

I used RPG maker XP. So far I'm stucked with its "operation" commands, so all I could do was design maps without knowing how to connect them lol... It doesn't help either that the help section is in japanese, and my PC's still screwy due to hardware incompability , making it freezes every now and then... Hm... that is bad, to have an OS that deletes files by itself... very ugly... >_<

Wow!!! Excellent graphics too! And if you don't mind me saying, the blue Aldeberan looks a lot like Francene from Samurai Pizza Cats!
And if you can make any screenshots featuring the rest of the Righteous crew, then please send 'em in! I'd love to see what Deadeye would be like in an RPG!

Pow, this has got to be the single coolest thing I've seen since CIty Of Heroes, and I'm STILL hooked on that. Is it shareware? Is it freeware? Must...research.. must...have...
(And we lose Claudia to yet another addiction)

If I rememebr correctly, I think its freeware, though I had to remove it last time so I could make room for other computer program addictions. Not that I really made much use of it. (was gonna be using it to rip sprites and attempt a sprite comic, yet another plan not utilaized)

(And we lose Claudia to yet another addiction) It is a freeware. try google to search for it. ( I forgot the link where I download it before, sorry.. It's around 21 MB) but there's plenty of site providing it. Lol, I'm sure you'll have fun with it. The drawback for it is that the setting is mostly in medieval fantasy... so the most appropriate character for the BoH RPG is Jenny. You can even edit the pics and the character sprites. Jenny's sprite is based on one of the standard char provided in the program, edited with photoshop... Even the cat girl is actually a standard character provided in the game.... *cough*cough* Deadeye and the gang?, unless I can figure out how to draw sprites from the basics, it seems hard to do. I tried doing Bucky and he looked like a green-red blot with antennas. XD

I've got a friend that's a wiz at it: www.cosmicjive.org Check her out. I would, yes, modify the existing to be the right ship and size. I found some of the sprites that were tall and lean. Perhaps if these sprites were adopted instead, a better more 'aniversian' look could be achieved. As for the medival fantasy, not so. There appear to be chip set, character sets, and backgrounds that are usable for space. Of course, not nearly as much as there are for the medieval fantasy genre, so to make a truely awesome BOH only game, comlete with space flight and so forth, one would have to generate all the sets from scratch. Another project for nn-existant hours. For now, I'll settle with making my husband his own medieval fantasy RPG.
