I've seen it. Nice movie from Square. Not many fenomenal stuff, but it surely satisfies the crave for FF7 franchise. And a hell lot better than the FF Movies:Spirits Within! XD The fight scenes were sometimes look unnatural though, except for the bike fights, so that's my only regrets for it.... A must see!

I loved the following fight scenes... WARNING SPOILERS!!!
1.)Tifa vs that weird guy(i love the speed of the animation here) 2.)Cloud versus the 3 brothers in the forest(Crazy Crouching tiger Hidden Dragon like battle) 3.)The Enitre Avalanche versus the Materia(This scene just plain kicked maximum a$$) 4.)All the bike scenes(Fast and The Furious Final Fantasy style) 5.)Cloud vs Sepiroth(Hands down this scene kicked the most butt for me. And To Dahaka: It wasn't short it was pretty long if you ask me.)
So that's all of the scenes I found cool. I keep rewatching Adven Children cause of these scenes.

I know where to get a pic of the front of the barrel. I just can't find a decent place where they can show off the weaponry.

To HUSH's scene comments ----------------------------------- To number 1: Definitely LOVED that part, since Tifa seemsto move so quick and strong too. And she moves just like how I pictured her in the FF7 game. Though that fight was short, it captured the image and movement of Tifa very well. That fight scene probably had one of the best physics in the movie.
To number 2: Yes that scene definitely rocked, but the sad part was Cloud seemed to get his butt whooped there but that was the point of that scene I think. It definitely captured a sense of team work between Yazoo and Loz which was overwhelming to Cloud. But in favor of Cloud, I love his fighting style which I never expected from him, Iexpected him to be like a ground based fighter and not a jump around kind of dude.... and I love it ;D And I agree that the scene potrayed some Crouching Tiger battle. Basically the scene was very good, and just the right amount of length to it
To number 3: They fought Bahamut Sin there. But what pissed me off in that part was that the ret of party just sat and watched when Cloud came in. All they did after that was launch him in the air. But it was worth since everyone was put to use, except Cait Sith who just sat on Red XIII. The person who did most damage there aside from Cloud was Vincent in my opinion who for me is the coolest character there. Oh yeah, Vincent will be having his own game called FF7: Dirge of Cerberus and it will be the first FF thats a shooter. But back to the scene, everything definitely worked out well there, every one had their distinct fighting style (Cid-come down onthe enemy, Vincent-dodge/hover and attack, Yuffie-gain height then attack, Barret-shooot the dodge when needed, Red XIII-attack weak points) and personality put in the scene and limit break and such are visible. Over all a the scene is outstanding, although they could have added some length to the fight, I mean they made each character have only two or three waves to atack then Cloud come and finishes the fight. But a very low point in the scene was when Cloud went through the fireball. Yes, he was able to go through it but did he destroy it? So what happened to it? It just disappeared for some reason an Seventh Heaven was not turned into a fiery doom. That was only part that let the movie down really because it was a very improtant scene in accord to the survival mof 7th Heaven. But overall, a wonderful fight scene, problem: add some length of the fight and usage of all characters
To number 4: Ya those scenes were cool too although I didn't like the first one that much, since they didnt do so much. But the highway scene was definitely something to look forward to. It makes use of manyfactors like the storage of Coulds swords are used to push away Loz when he cornered Cloud and basically its like taking the fight scene of the forest and putting it onbikes, except this one was definitely more technical. You know like using bike as weapons jumping bike to bike. And Cloud gets his *** kicked a bit but he domintaed most of the time. I loved how the scene potrays aerial and vehicle combat in one package
To number 5: Basically, it was long, but for a rivalry between two such people, I expected it to be a hell of a long of fight scene. But the quality of the fight was priceless. The best bitwould haveto be the finalpart where Cloud unleashes all his swords and beats Sephi. I loved the way they made use of the environment in the fight, added some spice to the fight. But the ground based fights were also good since it was almost as quick as the fight of Tifa and Loz. And another best bit is the presence of the omnislash. Yes, it is there just have to look hard. Favorite part aside from the end is probably the scene inside the building. But a low point in the fight scene is how he pulled off his final move. He used the his victory action. You know the spin thig then put it behind his back. Really dude, there are some things good in a game that looks stupid in a movie
Overall, all the fight scenes are a must see except for very few low points. Certain moves in the fights are obviously impossible to do, but the physics put in the movie made it look possible, as if they can be done in real life. And in my opinion, the fight scenes just seem to slap the Matrix around in accord to moves and physics. The moves were definitely well thought of, as I said before, each move gives a hint to the unique fighting style given to each character. And the music is just wonderful to go along with the fights themselves. It has that pumping up sense and a metalic sound, perfect for a fight.
Score for fight scenes: 9.7/10

To Psyko: Oh you mean Ceberus, the gun's name. Its basically like three-barreled revolver with the barrels enlarged a bit(thus the name Cerberus) and its loaded like a two barrel shotgun (open up the berrel and load the bullet in) but I'm not sure about the loading since Iheard clicking sounds, usually the ones heard when loading a clip, I'll watch it again. But I think you can gain acces to the picture via image search engine

Yes your right Dahaka. Vincent's gun is tri-barreled and is loaded the same way as a double barreled shot gun. you can see him reload in one part of the Avalanche vs Bahamut Sin scene. From the sound of how he fired it seemed that it had around 6 shots in total since he fired more than 3 bullets. When Bahamut fires his mega flare on 7th Heaven. It fades away when Cloud ripped through it. And he used that energy to slice Bahamut in half. The reason why the party let Cloud take care of it is because they know the power Cloud had within himself to take on Bahamut Sin. I mean he defeated Sephiroth in FF VII the game. And Sephiroth was near invincibility at the time. I found the fight to be quite long actually. The Cloud and Sephiroth fight has got to be placed in video games greatest rivalry battles. The only downside of this fight is you don't get to see how all of the swords he usues looked properly. But who cares The fight was a lot more important. Sephiroth here proved he is a true video game bad @$$! To me th fact they jumped around like that and could glide for awhile gave it a more video gameish feel. And yeah I agree it does show that they have their own distinct style of combat. Like how Tifa would use the walls to her advantage or how Sephiroth will take advantage of how long his sword is and slice whatever he can sending it straight at Cloud. Or how Vincent will use his cloak to move around faster and even use it as a bloody shield. This movie definitely make FF X seem old school. Hahaha! I also like how the way the movie gives of this weird gothic feel. And the the music also bodes well with the fights like Sephiroth's theme song during that fight had a heavy metal touch to it to keep in pace with that fast paced fight. This movie is definitely for people who have played and beaten FF VII but if you guys who haven't have the patience to watch the movie over and over again to actually understand the short overview of what's happened in the past 2 years of FF VII will enjoy it as well. So it gets a 10/10. To Pow: If you ask me. If you push out the fact that Spirits within was supposed to be a FF movie it's actually pretty good as a stand alone movie that has nothing to do with FF at all. Sephiroth is now my only video game idol! XD Hush Mazmanos

I have new fact about Cerberus now actually. Each barrel contains 6 bullets each (I8 in total )and I THINK 3 bullets are fired with every shot, but I'm not sure, Vincent is either too far or too fast to notice. But all I know is that each barrel is loaded in with a revolver clip. I'll post he screen shots when I get my photobucket account fixed up.
When Bahamut fires his mega flare on 7th Heaven. It fades away when Cloud ripped through it. And he used that energy to slice Bahamut in half.
It does? Didnt see it, let me watch it AGAIN lol
The reason why the party let Cloud take care of it is because they know the power Cloud had within himself to take on Bahamut Sin. I mean he defeated Sephiroth in FF VII the game. And Sephiroth was near invincibility at the time. I found the fight to be quite long actually.
Hmm, not sure about that, I mean they mentioned that when he fought Kadaj/Sephiroth, but never when he fought Bahamut. But maybe they said it away from the audience view or like you suggested that they believed, you never know. But really, I would have like to see all of them attacking Bahumut Sin all at once, but thats just a suggestion/opinion. As for the length, ya, now that I think of it, it was kinda long, but I would have liked to see Avalanche attack for at least like 5 waves, everyone just had like 3 waves each or less (Cid-2 waves, Yuffie-3, Barret-2, Vincent 3 or 4, Red-3). But still a rocking scene.
To me th fact they jumped around like that and could glide for awhile gave it a more video gameish feel.
Ya, and the physics to the movie and CG motion made it look as if it was possible to do it. A feature that the Matrix would rate GOOD while FF7 AC would rate PERFECT.
Ya Tifa does use walls to her advantage, But if I may add one little thing: If you would notice, she uses the weight that she has to gain high, far jumps and fast running. Thus, the perfectly formed fighting motion or whatever you call it. And you did mention the walls thing, she also like uses the ground too. Also in a head on fight she basicall uses many forms of punch and kick moves, mixed in with acrobatics and speed, but that was already obvious.
For Sephiroth, he like using his flying ability a lot then he lunges at Cloud. I'm not sure about his ground moves though, seem like he uses speed and slices and dices, I dont know how to describe his style.
For Vincent, I jdont have anything to add, I just wanted to ask if anyone else was reminded of the Kingdom Hearts Cloud when Vincent saved Cloud in the Forest?
And I'm going to add another discussing point. When the Shadowcreeper was going to attack Tifa, Tifa was about to punch it when Bahamut came. But when she was motioning to punch, I noticed that there was a ring on her finger. Now, I'm just curious if that is just a normal ring or its an engagement ring with Cloud. I mean, they live together (at least for a while) and have orphans as children. But the phrase "Cause were not a real family" puts this down, yet I just dont see another reason why they would put a ring in her finger. But probably they did get married yet they never had coupultaion, just adoption. Anyone else have thoughts here?

Yeah so true.! I think the ring had the Avalnache Emblem on it. Since their selling replicas of the cell phone and a ring with the Avalanche emblem on it. If you're wondering what the emblem is it's the lion with the nose ring on it.
As for Vincet's gun, where the hell did you get that info?!
They never mentioned it. But the fact he has the guilt of Aeris' death on his head is enough reason for them to know he will do anything to protect the people he cares for. The reason why he was away from them for so long was because he was afraid his loved ones might be taken away from him the same Zack and Aeris were taken a way from him. And with those two people contantly in the back of his head he draws of more power that way to beat his opponents. Noticed he thought of Aeris in almost every fight scene he was in. And he became stronger or a but more aggressive that way.

Vincents gun? My own research via screen shots
Ya youre most probably right there. But did he think of Aerith during the forest fight? I mean he did get his butt kicked. But ya, the thought of Aerith and his loved ones (including Tifa, I'm a CloTi) did make him stronger, especially when Sephiroth said "What is most dear to you.... Would you give me the joy of stealing it from you?". That part ruled LOL
As for the emblem, I'm watching it and tryng to look as close as I can to see if the ring really has the Emblem aka The Cloudy Wolf. I remember seeing it on Cloud's shoulder and earing but not on Tifa's ring, well not yet at least
