Hey folks,
I was just a little curious as to some of your opinions. As a lot of you know i have a few fictions in the Fan fictions area. I'm sure you have read most of them and that is why i am putting this up. I have a couple of questions for those of you who have read the stories;
1) What are your honest opinions of the stories and characters?
2) What would you change about any of the characters?
3) What would you like to see happen in future stories?
I look forward to your responses and I am hoping you guys can help me get over a small case of writer's block! Thanks!

1. Both are very good and have managed not to go completely over board with new characters, although i think by following the Web Series your going to restrict yourself over a factor you can't control totally.
2. Ummm not much really but maybe lay off introducing any more major ones, you've already got rather a large cast to write for.
3. Apart from the points i mentioned in 1. Maybe you could flesh out some of the characters backstories with the use of flashbacks and/or events happening to the characters. That might give you some ideas!

1. The story itself is already a classic. But the time line is rather confusing like 7 years have past for the charcters since the story before that. And I agree with autobahn your gonna have to wait for nearly every episode to pass to keep your stories at par with the web series.
2. The characters are all very deep and intrestingthey never seem to fail to impress since they are extremely unique the way they are so don't change them. And don't add anymore unless your gonna kill one of them off coz it's gonna be a big hassle for you to write.
3. Maybe try doing like what you did in your last story where they attempt to take Genus back or try making Kinjite and a few characters head to Aldebaran or something like that. And try watching movies or anime they provide the best inspirations for a story as good as yours.

thanks for the info, guys! I do watch anime and movies and yes, the do help with ideas. Don't worry Hush, i already have something for aldebaran in the works. I just hope i don't step on Cluadia's toes with it! As for sticking to the web series, you guys are right, i am painting myself into a corner. It was fun, but i think i am going to stray from it. Any other ideas and opinions are always welcome!

Psykorabbit2000 As far as the fan fiction goes, anyone may write anything they want in aldebaran, even if it totally contradicts everything that has been stated as cannon in the web series. Fan ficition is simply that, fan Fiction. And as such, I will hold nothing against anyone for writing whatever they like for that section of the site. However, in attempting to write a story for inclusion into the web series itself which deals with Aldebarans, be ready for hte microscope. Thank you. |
