It seems that CBBC has started showing The Batman. Since I was at work I decided to record it. What a waste of tape. What have they done to the Joker and Man-Bat? I don't mind the new image for Bruce himself, but the city scape and red sky are horrible.
Opinions?

"The Batman" is the one where Joker looked like Beetle Juice, if not mistaken? I haven't manage to watch it fully, only some screenshots of the show...While some of the cast were cool, but the joker one was really a turn-down.

Well actually, I havent seen Joker yet, but I have seen man-bat and forme he looks good there.. But I dont really pay SO much to the picture, as long as the show has a good story and dialogue and just OK picture, I'd watch it. But thats just my opinion

Thats the one Pow. Does anyone else remember the Man-Bat Gotham Knights episode? Is anyone really going to argue that it wasn't better?

This show already reached my country... and I must say that the character design is awful... All they look like Jackie Chan cartoon characters with anorexic problems...

THEY RUINED MR. FREEZE!
All I have to say. On the plus, I do like Clayface...

I preferred Clayface's origin on Batman: The Animated Series.

Clayface is the only one I like on both series. Don't like Scarface as much, but Arnold looks and acts the same as in the origional, so... small mercy's

Hush? Good grief...
I like how the Penguin is depicted in the comics. Neither of the cartoons have got him right.

Well, rumor has it that Tim Burton chose to depict him as he did in Batman Returns because Burton reasoned (and I agreed with him) that the Penguin was the only major Batman villain whose name didn't seem to make any sense. Yeah, he wore a tuxedo and was a bird enthusiast, but beyond that there was little reason to call him "the Penguin," or so Burton figured. While untrue to the comics, the Penguin as shown in Batman Returns, Batman: The Animated Series, and The Batman at least gives a reason for him being called the Penguin.
And at any rate, wasn't he, in the later seasons on Batman: TAS, drawn to better resemble the (more or less) normal human of the comics rather than the Tim Burton human bird-monster?

That's how I remember it. In the comics he doesn't call himself 'The Penguin' or like being called it. Batman made it up to annoy him. He has some minor deformities, but nothing like in the film.

Finally I watched an episode of The Batman. I think it's quite nice actually. Although batman needs to wear his cape all the time. He looks strange if he opens his cape. his bonecheeks is .... awful.
But well, I'll have to see more episodes. I haven't seen all the villains yet...

I think that cat woman actually looks good in the batman but I have to say that I prefer the old series more.
