Cryer was still sitting in his cell, head in his hands, mulling over what Fritz had said as he awaited the return of the chairman. The longer it took, the more the hare began to irrationally fear that the Chairman had simply told him those things in order to give him false hope and break his spirit. But his rarely-employed rational side would come in and remind him that they weren't the toads, whatever their faults. Sighing, Cryer decided to get some rest, and laid down on his bed and going to sleep.

Cryer needn't have bothered getting comfortable. A short while after he began to relax the cell door was unlocked, admitting Fritz and Kadaf. Fritz moved and seated himself near Cryer while Kadaf, as before, remained standing by the door.
"Hello Cryer," says Fritz warmly, "I know I said you'd have time to think, but things are moving very quickly and I need an answer pretty much immediately. Where do we stand?"

The hare jumped up into a sitting position as Fritz entered, looking nervously at Kadaf. Nervously rubbing one arm Cryer sighed deeply. "All right," he said after a moment or so of silence, "I'll do anything if it means I'll excape being shot or whatever it is you do to traitors. What do you want me to do?"

OOC: Hmm, it's been ten days almost. I don't mean to sound rude Whitehind, but if you don't respond soon I'm just going to move on.

OOC: All right, in light of Whitehind's continued absence I'm just going to have to move things along. We'll say Cryer has been offered a pardon in exchange for being a double agent, a la Renfield, just as Fritz said.
IC: After Fritz and Kadaf left, Cryer sighed. A short time later, the guard came and released him. He was greeted by Derek, hedgehog attorney who explained he was to be escorted to the house of justice to arrange for bail and meet with the judge.

OOC: That's okay Whitehind, I'm not angry or anything, and neither is anyone else. Anyway now that you're back you want me to scrub that post above and just let the RP flow naturally again, with Fritz responding to Cryer asking him what he wants him to do?

Suddenly, all power went out in the cells. The whole cell area remained black until emergency lighting came back on, followed by a recorded annocement.
"We apologize for this inconvince, as the main dention center systems have been unexpectedly shut down. We are doing all in out power to fix this problem. Again, appologies for any inconviences."
After a few minutes, the message repeats again.

The message repeats itself three more times till it goes dead, leaving static and a black screen, which immeditly gets filled with the computer face of KOMPLEX.
"INFERIOR MAMMALS, YOU ARE NOW MY PRISONER. EACH AND ALL SHALL FACE THE WRATH OF KOMPLEX. THERE IS NO ESCAPE, SO MAKE YOU TIME."
There is evil robotic laughter then the communications goes completly dead.

Cryer gave a shriek of pure, unadulterated terror and cowered in the nearest corner, wide-eyed and whimpering, looking for all the world like an asylum inmate. "No, no, no, no," he repeated over and over again as his already fragile psyche threatened to snap, one of his many worst nightmares seemingly coming true, "this can't be happening!"

As the message continues playing, a small counter appears at the bottom of KOMPLEX displays, counting down the minutes. What the countdown is for is not known, though each moment it seems to get a little harder to breath, like the air is thinning out.

Cryer, panicking, loosens the collar on his uniform, and then goes and bangs on the cell door. "Guard!" he calls. "H-hey! I-I-I c-can't breathe..."

A look to the outside of the Cells, one can see a few guards laying on the ground. As to if they are dead or just passed out still remains to be seen.

"Oh, no," Cryer whimpered, sagging to the floor of his cell, realizing he might die, but wondering why he hasn't succumbed faster than the guards...
