Lady Death was silent for a moment, but then finally said. "Very well, warrior. You too may fight, but only on the condition that you speak only when you have a suggestion. The vibrations of even a whisper can be picked up by Purgatoris' ears."

Din nodded and crossed his arms. Ktonos looked at him and then at Charlene.
"Try to change his mind. I am trained and bred to fight and kill the Undead and I am terrified of this fight." He said quietly, as he stepped back by Starfire.

Charlene nodded and stepped over to Din.
"Din," she murmured. "We've known each other for so long, and already you're going off into a fight. What if something happens to you, and I can never see you again?"
Tears began to well in her eyes, while Lady Death watched with curiosity.

Ktonos nodded.
"She is right, Din. Sith is a Master and to fight a master is to throw yourself to death withno regards." He said quietly.
Din looked at Ktonos and tehn at Charlene. he lowered his head and sighed. He had always been loyal to Nick and bbacked Nick up or fought for Nick. Now he had a new reason. he slipped his arms around Charlene and held her.
"If you wish, I'll stay out of this fight." he said gently sa he hugged her.

Charlene said nothing but clasped Din tightly as they embraced.
"Fear not," Lady Death answered. "Not all demons fight through minions. I too shall fight for the sake of all that is holy. Where was the Dark Mistress last seen?"

"The naem is known among my people, but i do not know of her location here. We encountered my brother in teh Gardens, when he attacked some friends of Din and Miss. Charlene." Ktonos explained.

"Then we shall examine the Gardens of which you speak, and search for any clues there." Lady Death answered, and transported the entire group out of the Archives.

Renfield Billings entered the Genus Control Centre and approached the entrance to the UAC Archives he knew to be located beneath the building. He knew of the archives' existence and had been there once before with his predecessor, Stevens, but this was the first time he was actually going to retrieve any information. He noted the guards and knew that his ID badge clipped to his lapel would ensure he would have no trouble from them.

Noticing the guards, they both nodded simultaneously and stepped aside for Renfield to pass.

Pass Renfield did, and he stepped aboard the elevator. He knew about the riddle, another memory from his previous visit to the Archives with Stevens, and he hoped he would be able to answer it correctly.

"I am a hard-of-hearing animal found on Planet F-Minor, better known for my music talents. What am I?"
OOC: The answer is DEF LEPPARD.

Renfield frowned. As he thought, he looked around to see where the voice was coming from, but found that the speaker was well-hidden. Was it an automated program or was there actually someone sitting at a microphon day in, day out whose entire job consisted of telling people riddles. Ultimately the answer came to him. Still it was with some hesitancy that he answered. "Def Leppard...?"

Renfield obviously had the puzzle correct, and the lift slowly descended to the basement level.

"That was easy," Renfield said. "I really should talk to Fritz about getting some tighter security for this place." He chuckled. Once the elevator stopped at the sub-level beneath the Genus Control Centre, Renfield stepped off the lift and approached the large door and its accompanying keypad. He entered the numerical portion of his access code, 1514.

The doors slid open, and the cavernous archives room lay before Renfield, simply glowing with History.
