Welp, didn't know where exactly to post this thing. I spent the last couple of days throwing this together... a bio of my Bucky-hating rabbit dude, Cryer (yes, I changed the spelling of his name somewhat).
NAME: Cryer, Bartholomew
HOMEWORLD: Warren
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Male, 3'3" hare with light reddish-brown fur and green eyes
BIOGRAPHICAL DETAILS: An anomaly amongst hares, the bitter and spiteful Bartholomew Cryer holds a grudge against Captain Bucky O'Hare, blaming O'Hare and his heroic exploits for the pain and suffering he underwent as a slave of the Toad Empire. Before the toads came, he was a systems analyst on Warren. When Warren was conquered by the Toad Empire, Cryer was made a slave and put to work for the toads in the toadium* mines on Burgos III**. Initially Cryer looked upon Bucky O'Hare as a hero, much like his fellow hares, holding out hope that O'Hare would free them from toad tyranny. Though no fault of his own, Bucky took his time in coming, and the mine on Burgos III was one of the last of the toad slave camps to be liberated. Prior to his liberation however, the toad officer in charge of the camp, Commander Glutgrave, under pressure from the Toad Air Marshal himself to meet double his quota of toadium, worked the prisoners just about to the bone, with many of them dying from exhaustion and overwork. The fact that they were ruthlessly mistreated by their Stormtoad guards as "payback" for all the trouble Bucky O'Hare was causing the Toad Empire didn't help. By the time the Righteous Indignation finally arrived at Burgos III, Cryer was thoroughly disillusioned and cursing Bucky's name. At least, in his mind; he kept his hatred of Bucky to himself. Following his liberation, Cryer's anger was temporarily overwhelmed by the joy of his newfound freedom, and he applied for a job at the U.A.C. (or S.P.A.C.E... I don't knoew the intricacies of both). As one of their technicians, Cryer settled into the boring, mundane existence of being stuck behind a computer console, and his thoughts returned to his hatred of Bucky. He still mostly kept this to himself, seeing as how O'Hare was such a well-loved hero by all his coworkers, but he was able to find sympathy in a woodchuck named Edmund Rusk. Rusk, as it turned out, had a plan to strike a deal with the toads, to sell them sensitive U.A.C. material. In addition to being antisocial, greedy, and traitorous, Rusk was also quite dumb, and all-too-eagerly let Cryer in on his secret, since he needed a partner. Cryer initially balked at the idea, remembering his ill treatment at the hands of the toads, but as fate would have it he encountered Bucky O'Hare in heading to report Rusk to security. The green hare, upon setting foot in the station, was greeted by several hopeful young cadets, and seeing this, Cryer's blood boiled. He then returned to Rusk and said he'd changed his mind (casually omitting the fact he originally intended on ratting him out), and from then on Cryer was on his way to becoming a toad spy, saboteur, and a traitor.
*I saw this in the S.P.A.C.E. Handbook on the site, so I figured it's a legit substance/mineral.
**Okay, I know, lame name for a planet. I suck when it comes to naming planets.
And regarding Commander Glutgrave and Edmund Rusk, I may do bios for them. Well, maybe for Rusk. Glutgrave's just a footnote in Cryer's life.
Oh, and here's a sketch I did of Cryer. Special thanks to my girlfriend for letting me use her webspace. Hope it shows up properly. I also hope you'll excuse the fact that it isn't exactly in the BOH style, since it's been forever since I really draw any BOH fanart...
