Renfield watched her undress. For a career officer, she had an incredible body, which made him wonder how the Stormtoads serving under her managed to keep their minds on anything else. Following her example, he, too, stripped, down to his boxer shorts.

Although being completely covered in fur, Padd thought of Renfield as quite a hunk. Although he was always tripping up over himself and acting like a pillock at times, he was indeed hiding something admirable beneath that suit of his.

Renfield would definitely be the first to admit he sometimes acted a little slow on the uptake, but it was his undying sense of duty and loyalty, even, oddly, to the mammals he had been deceiving, that seemed to make him as well-liked as he was. As he stood before Padd in just a pair of purple boxers, he grinned, then turned and jumped clumsily into the bed.

Padd giggled quietly as Renfield jumped in; her laugh was more like a schoolgirl than a fully-grown woman.
Once Renfield was comfortable, Padd slipped in beside him, smiling all the time she did so.

Renfield snuggled up to Padd, having been bitten and bitten hard by the infatuation bug, if not the real love bug. To most Padd would appear to be the ultimate ice queen, but in the short time he'd known her Renfield had decided there were many nuances and hidden layers to her overall personality beneath the hardened exterior that warranted remaining at her side.

"Oh, you want to play, do you?" Padd teased playfully as Renfield cuddled up to his side. She slowly turned on her side and placed her one hand on Renfields' chest, gently stroking the artificial fur as if it was a carpet.

OOC: As much as it pains me to say this, I think we ought to put this on hold after all. It takes some of the fun out of it knowing we're the only two still roleplaying.

OOC: Good idea. We may as well leave it here and come back to it if there is a revival in the RPG Board.

OOC: Having had this thread brought to my attention by Norris, I feel more comfortable in re-entering at this point instead of trying a massive rewind. I had not realized that so little has happened. I will post here at Orwell shortly. I will erase my previous post at the Apts just for cleanliness... Sorry for the mix-up.

Seemingly out of nowhere, the light sound of a doe clearing her throat rang out clear as day. Vernita Lapis, looking incredibly smug, stood leaning against a far wall dressed in a tight black jumpsuit. A dark solar visor hung over her eyes to obscure her identity from any nosy do-gooders, but when she tipped it down over her nose to give Renfield the most sinister stare a newcomer baddie could muster, the eyes revealed who she was.

A small Double-Bubble landed in a hidden clearing nearby, and its' pilot had dodged mammals on the way to try and reach Vernita.
"You Vernita Lapis?" The Toad asked quietly as he reached her.
OOC: Before anyone asks, he used a jamming beam on one of the satellites in the defence system to sneak in.

Vernita's fur stood on end at the sound of the question. Turning slowly and pushing up the dark visor, she caught a glimpse of it's origin, a strange toad. She almost jumped at the sight of him but was more surprised that he even made it aboard this station. But she supposed if a certain someone could do it, any toad probably could...
"W-What's it to you? Who wants to know?" she replied in an equally hushed tone.

"I'm here to take you to the Homeworld," the Toad answered. "Major Padd sent me to pick you up."

Vernita cleared her throat cooly and shot a glance at the toad over her visor.
"Understood. Should I prepare anything to bring?"
