If any of you haven't heard the news, six bombs have been detonated in London. Five in seperate underground stations, and the sixth on a bus, of which is now a pile of scrap metal.
I know only four of the five stations that were plagued:
Liverpool Street Moorgate Aldgate Kings' Cross
The entire of London is in chaos, and terrorism has been blamed. The Prime Minsiter will be travelling to London from Gleneagles to investigate the matter, and I feel that another war is due to begin.

Al Qaeda. It’s not like we didn't know something like this would happen. I doubt that another war will be started, partly due to the fact that no state can be identified with the perpetrators and partly because the US wasn't attacked.

Yes. Several dead and a good many injured. As for horrible, I suppose that its somewhat less than an average day in Bagdad or the West Bank.

Deadeye here.
I don't live in London but my paternal Uncle, who lives there, is fine, and so is his friend and his friend's son Daniel. He phoned my paternal Gran this afternoon and he's fine. Jean-Claude Van **** it, these Al Qaeda TOADIES are really getting out of hand now. I was really upset to hear about the Madrid tragedy, especially as, according to what I heard on another site, apparently it happened 911 days after a certain tragedy of which I dare not speak...
My condolences to the departed and their families. Do I have anyone's vote for a BOH attempt to express my sorrow and my RI at this tragedy?

there wasn't really any chaos or panic in london, just confusion and some dgree of disbelief. People were still going about their normal activities as nobody really knew the extent of what was happening. Me and my dad were in edgware road, one of the bomb sites. Luckily we only got away with cuts and bruises, so naturally i'm feeling a bit achy right about now.
There are now 37 confirmed dead and at least 200 seriously injured.

Yikes! Good to hear you're okay. I was with my friend and her family in Manchester when it was bombed by the IRA. We weren't really hurt, just covered in glass, but my friends Mum and brother were killed and her grandma died in hospital. In manchester the huge TV said 38 deaths Due to the increase in police partols, tonight was probably the safest night to be out.

Sorry to hear that, Gary!
Birmingham was up in arms, too. Even though nothing had happened here, people were still paranoid. I daresay, all of us were in complete shock.
When I heard about the London bombings, I thought it best if I alert everyone here, and that's why I started this thread.

So am I, so am I.
It worries me how these lunatics keep doing this so often that trust is slowly becoming a dirty-word around here!

They are not lunatics. As far as they are concerned the British people are a threat to everything they value. Since there is no way they could directly fight our armed forces they fight a paramilitary war. Quite a rational thing to do really.
